Your details, handled with care.
The short version: I only collect what I need to quote and photograph your property, I never sell it, and you can ask me to delete it at any time.

Who I am
Sky Studio Lab is a real estate photography business based in Los Angeles. This policy covers www.skystudiolab.com and the emails it sends. Questions about it go to hello@skystudiolab.com.
What I collect
- What you type into the booking form: your name, email, phone number, the property address, type and size, your preferred date, the services or package you pick, and your message.
- Booking details I add: the quote, the shoot date and whether the deposit has been paid.
- A scrambled version of your IP address, used only to limit how many requests one device can send in an hour. The address itself isn't stored.
- Your light or dark mode choice, saved in your own browser.
The site doesn't use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and doesn't follow you around the web. Because nothing tracks you, a browser's “Do Not Track” setting doesn't change anything here.
How I use it
- To reply to your request, send your quote and confirm your booking.
- To send the emails you'd expect: a copy of your request, a link to confirm it, your quote, one reminder if the deposit is still open after two days, and a booking confirmation.
- To find your property and plan the shoot.
- To keep basic records for taxes and accounting.
I don't send newsletters or marketing emails, and I never sell or rent your details.
Services that help run the site
A few trusted companies handle parts of the work for me, only for the purposes above:
- Sanity stores booking requests in a private admin.
- Resend delivers the site's emails.
- Stripe processes card payments. Your card details go straight to Stripe; I never see or store them.
- Cloudflare Turnstile checks the form for spam bots.
- Google Maps suggests addresses as you type in the form.
- Vercel hosts the website.
- OpenStreetMap provides the map in the light planner.
If you pay by Zelle or Venmo, that payment goes through your bank or Venmo under their own privacy policies.
How long I keep it
Booking requests are kept while we're working together and afterwards as business records, usually for up to seven years for tax purposes. Requests that didn't turn into a booking are deleted when they're no longer needed, or sooner if you ask.
Your choices
You can ask to see the details I have about you, correct them, or have them deleted, by emailing hello@skystudiolab.com. I'll reply within 30 days. California residents have these rights under California law, and I extend them to everyone.
Children
The site is meant for adults booking property photography and isn't aimed at children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date at the top.
